Borders goes into administration

It has been announced that bookstore Borders has gone into administration.
Its website has stopped taking orders for new books while it “is in discussion with potential buyers”
Borders, which has 45 stores in the UK, had been suffering from increased competition from online bookstores, such as Amazon, as well as supermarkets selling deeply discounted book offers.
